Out with the old...

...and in with the new! There has been a whole lot of newness happening in my life over the past month or so and I'm stoked to share some exciting details and opportunities with you all.

New House

As I mentioned in my last blog, I was preparing to move into a new house. That has since taken place and I am now sat in my brand new living room as I write this update! I have shrunk my housemate total down from 22 to just 2! My new place is a 2 bedroom apartment, fairly small but with a good sized balcony and a lot of love! Currently there are 3 of us living in the house and we are on the hunt for a 4th housemate as we will need to replace our last in order to not all go bankrupt on our rent. We'd love it if you could be praying for us as we search for someone to move in with us; if you'd like to support me financially to help me pay rent and continue my work here in Perth, I'd love to hear from you.

New Camera

If you follow along with my instagram you probably know that I am a big fan of photography and a sucker for a good photoshoot. Recently I've been wanting to expand my skill set; we have also been praying for a decent camera to use in our ministry as currently Ivan and I have been borrowing from our friends in media. However it's no secret that cameras are rather expensive, and I haven't been in a position to purchase one myself. Last week my housemate made her way home to England and left behind for me a very nice Sony a550 DSLR camera, for which she had never bought a lens. I've been researching into lenses and have found a few that would be great for what we want to do in our ministry. They are however, still incredibly expensive, and so I wanted to give you the opportunity to give towards them. I've estimated that I will need approximately £250 in order to purchase the lenses we would need for ministry work primarily. If you feel this is something you could give towards, myself and PTX ministries would be incredibly grateful - don't hesitate to reach out!

New Church Team

I talked before about how Jared and I have started attending a new church called Tribes. We are thoroughly enjoying it and stoked to be serving on team! I recently joined Jared on the worship team, and although the set up and down is rather brutal (any Long Laners can attest) its a small price to pay to serve alongside some awesome people. New Songs

A few weeks ago, we started writing a worship song as a ministry, which was a change of pace from our usual secular focus. As we continued to work on it, we really felt that this was a song straight from heaven, and that it simply must be heard! This coming July we will be releasing the song "Back to You" by PTXministries on all platforms, along with a (semi)live music video! We are so excited for you all to hear this song and to see how God uses it to impact others.

I'm forever perplexed and amazed at the goodness of God, and the good gifts He wants to give to me, be it through a house, a camera, a song...He is constantly providing me with all that I need, and tirelessly seeking to satisfy the desires of my heart, all because He loves me and He loves what I'm doing for His Kingdom. It's a crazy wonderful thing, and I'm grateful in all senses of the word for a Father who loves me so deeply.
