I'M TURNING 22!! Thats right, a shameless reminder that on the 17th I will be leaping into what is more commonly known as the "T-Swizzie" year of my life and I am PUMPED.

This last year has truly been one of the wildest of my life and I am incredibly thankful; I cannot wait to see what God has for me in this next year but before we get there, let me bring you all some very overdue updates about my life here on the mission field!

Ministry

Over the last month or so we have been busy preparing for the YWAM Perth Musical Showcase, taking place September 12th. There are a number of performing ministries/programmes on base, and the showcase is an awesome opportunity to display to everyone what it is we do and the things that we have been working on in our ministry time. This is especially exciting for us as PTX because it will be our debut performance! One of the words God gave me for our ministry in this season was that we would be "known" and I am eager to see that word unfold as we take centre stage this coming Saturday. If you're not here on base (which most of you aren't) I have great news for you; you can watch too! The showcase will be live streamed and available for you to watch along with the base; I will be posting the link on my social media accounts so be sure to look out for that. 12/09/2020 Perth: 7pm UK: 12pm EST: 7am

Health

Oh boy, it's been a journey. As I'm sure by now many of you know I have struggled with back pain for roughly the last 4 years. After having some physiotherapy in the UK, I personally have felt my condition worsening rather than improving and quite frankly I'm over it! On Monday the 14th I have booked a consolation with a physiotherapist/chiropractor to find out whats going on and if there is anything that can be done to right what is so clearly wrong. Unfortunately for me, nothing about this process is going to be exactly cheap, and so I want to ask if you feel you could give anything towards my medical bills that would be amazing; you can give through Paypal via this website, or feel free to contact me about alternative ways of giving.

Outreach

With the current state of the world, talk of outreach has been more or less silent up until this point, however recently some opportunities have arisen. Over the last month, YWAM Perth has been sending small teams out into the far corners of WA, to encourage people to step into missions and do a Discipleship Training School and now our ministry has a chance to be apart of the action. On October 5th we'll be heading down to the south coast to visit two towns, Albany and Denmark. We'll be there for 5 days working with churches and youth groups, and we'll also be putting on a performance for local youth. It's a really great opportunity to build relationships, evangelise and also encourage more young Australians to do their DTS. Before I am able to go I have to be up to date on my staff and student fees, and of course then have to fund the outreach. I am currently trusting for £500. If you would like to give anything towards this please feel free to reach out, or you can donate via this website. I'm so stoked to be able to get out on outreach again, and would love it if you could partner with me and my team in prayer as we prepare to go!

Prayer Points:

- Showcase (specifically strength for my voice)

- Physio consultation (14/09/2020)

- Finances

- Outreach (specifically that people would be encouraged to do a DTS)

Thank you all so much for reading and partnering with me in this wild adventure! Don't be afraid to reach out and update me on your lives/ask for prayer; I'd love to hear from you. God Bless!

Love Kate xx
