Blessed Life

October has seriously flown by and we're not even allowed to go anywhere; how does that work?! Anyway, lots to talk about, so strap in and get ready for an October update...

Fun Stuff

Dating is a lot of fun, and having your boyfriend and friend plan a date for you is definitely something I would recommend! Last week my boyfriend Jared, and friend Graydon, planned a date night for me and my friend Katie. We sent them axe throwing, and they sent us out on a treasure hunt that resulted in us having a little picnic in South Perth. It was heaps of fun and I even made a little video about it which you can check out on Facebook or IGTV.

It was Jared's 21st birthday a couple of weeks ago, and we had great fun celebrating. We went out for dinner to a restaurant on the river that over looks the city and we ate SO GOOD. I feel constant blessed by this man, so it was great to be able to celebrate him. He's a keeper.

Ministry

The last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy for us as a ministry, with everyone but me preparing to move house! Ves and Anu discovered a pretty heavy mould issue in their house, and we think that explains why their family and our ministry have been getting pretty sick the last couple of months. Even though this has been a stressful situation, they've found a great new home not too far from base and so we'll be moving them in next week. With that being said, their new home won't be able to accommodate a recording space for us, and that's a bit of an issue... On Friday we spent the day packing up the gear in the old house and moving it into one of the rooms on base, which will act as a temporary space for us. Being on base for this season will be great as we'll be more submerged into our community, however as far as creating and recording goes, we are in real need of an actual studio space; be sure to keep praying with us for this!

Health

All I can say is I've been pretty blown away with God's provision in the last month and a bit. In my last post I talked about booking a consultation with a physiotherapist. Just before going to my appointment I received a gift from some friends which allowed me to pay for 4 sessions of physio. This really blew me away and I have seen and felt amazing results since having these sessions. This coming Tuesday would have been the last session I could afford, however God is good and knows our needs! I was just recently promised another gift that will cover another 4 sessions. I am so in awe of Jesus and how He loves me and longs to provide!

I also found out a little under a month ago that my vitamin D has been on the extra low side recently, which would also explain my being randomly unwell. Thankfully I am on the mend now, and as we enter into summer here in Australia, I'm certainly not at a lack for sunlight!

Outreach

A few weeks ago, my team and I took a trip down south to Albany and Denmark. We had an awesome time running some evangelism training for the local young adults, and also playing some live music events. I think one of the things that encouraged me most was seeing how soft these guys hearts were, and how excited and on fire they are for Jesus. I'm really eager to see a new wave of revival come to Australia out of WA.

Lots more of us are heading out on outreach this month, including my boyfriend Jared, who is heading down to Esperance for November. He and the team will be promoting the January DTS we have running, and also working with churches down there and along the way. We'd love it if you could be praying for him and his team as they go.

Thoughts...

Recently I keep thinking about how crazy my life is, and how blessed I am to be here in Australia, truly living my best life. Even with plans falling through because of COVID, I am still just in so much awe of the things God has given to me, and the privilege it is to be here. I don't ever want to take for granted the awesome things I have and that He's done for me; regardless of situation or circumstance, He is good and He has so much more!

Prayer Points

- Jared and his outreach team
